Married At First Sight’s Beth Kelly is not holding back.

Fresh off the retreat, the outspoken bride, 28, has lifted the lid on what really went down behind the scenes, calling out hypocrisy, defending her closest allies, and branding one of her co-stars a ‘snob.’

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia, Beth says she was glued to the screen watching the drama play out on MAFS, and she didn’t mince words about how she felt seeing the chaos unfold.

‘It was f***ing awesome,’ she said. ‘It was such a good episode. It was juicy, wasn’t it?’

But one thing Beth couldn’t stomach was Ryan Donnelly’s hypocrisy when it came to his wife, Jacqui Burfoot, opening up about their sex life.

‘She has every right to do that, and I just feel like he’s such a hypocrite. Like, he’s allowed to make derogatory comments about his wife, but she can’t talk to his girls about her sex life?’ Beth fumed.

‘That’s why I just wanted to go on there, have Jacqui’s back, and just set it straight. But obviously, he thought I was classless. So, whatever, Ryan.’

Beth also touched on Ryan criticising her unfiltered approach.

‘I could not be someone who doesn’t swear,’ she laughed. ‘It is what it is. It’s part of my vocabulary. Could I have chosen a better word? Yeah. But I didn’t. And I don’t think swearing makes you classless.

To be quite honest, I don’t really care about Ryan’s opinions.’

The biggest fallout of the retreat came when Lauren Hall walked out of the girls’ night, shutting down an attempt from the other brides to bring her into the group.

‘Lauren is a snob,’ Beth said bluntly.

‘We went into that girls’ night really wanting to help her because she had distanced herself from the group.

‘We were trying to give her some perspective, maybe help her through it, but she just didn’t want to borrow it.’

But one thing Beth couldn’t stomach was Ryan Donnelly’s hypocrisy when it came to his wife, Jacqui Burfoot, opening up about their sex life

According to Beth, Lauren acted as if discussing relationships on MAFS was beneath her.

‘She said, “This is not what I signed up for.” I was like, “It is, love. That’s literally what you signed up for – it’s a social experiment.”‘

‘But she was just really snobby. Her reaction took us off guard.’

Lauren’s dramatic walkout left the group stunned.

‘All it was, was a girl-to-girl conversation. It didn’t need to be like that,’ Beth added.

Beth was also left disgusted by Lauren’s insults toward the group.

‘She was calling us all bogans,’ Beth revealed.

‘It’s just nasty. The girls have done nothing to warrant those kinds of comments. They’re not ‘boganic’ – she’s just a snob. Anyone who isn’t like her, she thinks is beneath her. She’s just a really nasty woman.’

And while Jamie Marinos and Dave Thomas tried to call Lauren out, Beth noted that nobody really stood up for Jamie in that moment.

‘Jamie was really emotional because she feels like she’s the voice of the group. It is disappointing when people don’t stand up for the person who always stands up for everyone else.’

Jamie has been vocal about feeling abandoned by Carina Mirabile and Rhi Disljenkovic, who chose to comfort Lauren instead of backing her.

Beth believes Jamie was right to feel betrayed.

‘At the end of the day, Jamie has formed relationships with Karina and Rhi, so for them to not have her back and support someone that’s calling Jamie boganic? Why would you back that person?’ she said.

Surely you’d support the friend.’

But when asked whether the friendships could be repaired, Beth was optimistic.

‘I think so. I’m sure the girls can put everything aside and fix the friendship. I believe in girl power.’

Beth and her partner Teejay Halkias went into the retreat on solid ground, and she believes the experience only made them stronger.

‘The retreat helped us. The drama always brings people closer together because you realise your relationship isn’t as bad as some of the others. So, yeah, I think it brought us closer.’

Meanwhile, Beth wasn’t impressed by Lauren and Clint Rice’s decision to leave the retreat early.

‘I feel sorry for Clint,’ she admitted.

‘He obviously wants to make it work. The poor geezer can’t catch a break. He takes the trash out and washes the dishes, and she hates him for it.’

Beth believes Lauren has Clint wrapped around her finger, and she didn’t hold back on what she thought of their early exit.

‘Them leaving was a really pathetic and stupid decision. I really didn’t vibe it at all.’

‘I love Awhina, and she’s such a strong woman, but Adrian just knows how to manipulate her,’ Beth said.

‘She’s an amazing mother, and she always wants to see the best in people. But Adrian’s to blame – he knows how to manipulate her.’

Awhina has faced criticism from viewers, but Beth urges fans to show support.

‘At the end of the day, most women can relate. When you’re into someone, you want something to work. You sometimes put the red flags to the side. She gives people second chances, and that does not make her a bad person.’

‘She’s an incredible human being, and it just shows what an amazing partner she is.’
