Jacqui and Ryan’s Epic Fight on MAFS: Shocking Demand Sparks Harsh Five-Word Diss!

Married At First Sight couple Jacqui Burfoot and Ryan Donnelly had a fiery showdown on Monday night’s dramatic episode following an unexpected demand from Jacqui.

Tensions escalated when Jacqui, 29, expressed her dislike for Ryan’s iconic beard and boldly requested he shave it off for her.

Ryan had annoyed Jacqui by teasing her that he had never seen her clean their apartment when she fired back with a shocking five-word insult.

‘Your beard isn’t very manly… and tonight I’m going to shave it off!’ Jacqui warned him.

But Ryan wasn’t having it and told her there would be severe consequences: ‘If you do, be prepared for an immediate divorce.

‘You threatening to shave a man’s beard is dangerous ground.’

The NSW-based consultant then asked him when he wouldn’t shave it for her, if it meant she would find him more attractive.

‘There’s nothing wrong [with clean-shaven], but I like having a bit of stubble. This is my preference. You’re entitled to every preference about your appearance, I haven’t tried to change it,’ Ryan told her.

Frustrated, Jacqui vented to the camera about Ryan’s refusal to compromise, labeling it as part of a larger pattern in their relationship.

‘Ryan’s beard is annoying me because I have experienced an unwillingness to compromise on every single thing that ever popped up in our relationship,’ she said.

‘I’m really frustrated by the way that Ryan is so attached to his identity as a man. His brain is so small, I can’t have a conversation with him.’

However, Ryan refuted her version of events and told the camera Jacqui asked him to shave his beard off when they first met, and he offered a compromise of trimming it.

‘Jacqui is the most difficult person I have ever tried to date in my life,’ he vented.

‘Let me tell you what is small-brained… Asking someone to change their physical appearance for the 50th time and not respecting they don’t want to.’

Ryan later tried to mend his relationship with Jacqui by taking her flower shopping in the upmarket Sydney suburb of Manly.

He was seen purchasing an expensive bouquet from a local store and telling the camera he felt the gift was the first step towards repairing their relationship.

‘Today has been a bit cooked, with the bickering over silly s**t. We have just got to throw our pride out the window and realise we still care about each other,’ he said.

It comes after Ryan hit back at his TV ex-wife Jacqui after her numerous claims he ‘controlled’ and ‘abused’ her on the show.

The consultant has spent weeks going rogue on a second Instagram account producers have no control over, slamming the project manager for his alleged treatment of her behind-the-scenes.

But Ryan told Daily Mail Australia her ‘crusade’ against him has been filled with nothing but ‘horrific lies’, after he leaked texts online of Jacqui begging him to stay in a relationship with her.

‘From the moment [our wedding] episode concluded, Jacqui began her rogue crusade,’ he said.

‘Through constant public posting on an alternate Instagram account, she has made serious defamatory content against myself, my close friends, other MAFS participants and production company Endemol Shine.

'Ryan's beard is annoying me because I have experienced an unwillingness to compromise on every single thing that ever popped up in our relationship,' she said

‘I’ve been accused of being an abuser. Jacqui claiming she was “trapped” in a literal abusive relationship during filming between August and November last year.’

He continued: ‘She has aggressively pushed this scenario onto every viewer of her content. All of which in its entirety, are horrific lies, slander and in breach of Australian defamation laws.

‘Jacqui has both disrespected genuine victims of abuse, and trivialised their trauma. It’s sickening.’

Ryan went on to say Jacqui ‘has no evidence’ and ‘zero witnesses’ of any abuse she alleges took place during filming of MAFS.

Married At First Sight continues Tuesday at 7.30pm on Channel Nine.
