Brittany Hockley is in the best shape of her life thanks to her gruelling training schedule for Dancing With The Stars.
The Life Uncut podcaster, 36, told Daily Mail Australia she’d had just three days off in eight weeks of filming for the reality TV series, with all the celebrity contestants putting in eight hours a day of dancing.
The dance she’s most anxious about, though, will be the first dance at her upcoming destination wedding to Swiss footballer Benjamin Siegrist in Bali.
‘The wedding dance is a disaster,’ she said. ‘When we went for a practise last, I hadn’t done DWTS yet and even though Ben’s a goalkeeper, he’s not a dancer.
‘I’m going to try and teach him a few moves that my dance partner Craig has taught me and just hope for the best. It’s safe to say I’m very concerned.’
Brittany flaunted the results of her hard work in gold mini dress on Friday, as she stepped out for Marie Claire’s International Women’s Day luncheon at Alpha restaurant on Castlereagh street.

The cast of Dancing With The Stars Australia for 2025 is shaping up as one of the most impressive seasons yet.
Joining Brittany in race for the coveted Mirrorball Trophy this year is actress Rebecca Gibney, comedian and TV veteran Shaun Micallef, Olympic boxer Harry Garside, athlete Susie O’Neill and Mia Fevola.
Brittany, who rose to fame on the Bachelor Australia and Bachelor in Paradise, said the warm-hearted dancing competition will be her fifth and final stint on reality television.
The popular podcaster and radio presenter has also starred on The Challenge: Australia and I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!.
‘I did the jungle last year and I would say that dancing is way harder,’ she said.
‘It’s the most intense thing I’ve ever done.
‘It is 100 per cent the hardest show I’ve ever done and I think this is me done with reality now.
‘Unless I’m hosting it, I don’t think I’ll be on another reality show.’
Brittany also said DTWS will be her fifth and final reality TV show appearance, unless she is hired as a host
‘I love fitness and I’ve always been really fit,’ she added.
‘So I thought that would be a benefit going into the show— and it definitely was. But I was nowhere near fit enough.
‘My fiancé’s a professional athlete and he doesn’t even do eight hours of training a day.’
Ben and Brittany use fitness tracking apps to compare their training schedules and check in with each other.
In recent weeks, her activity and ‘stress levels’ have been higher than her professional athlete partner’s.
‘I have muscles I didn’t even know I had!’ Brittany said, gesturing to her muscled legs.
‘I’m so sore. I feel like I’ve been hit by a bus every single day.’
In the spirit of International Women’s Day, Brittany gushed over the close group of girlfriends she’s made among her DWTS cast mates.

‘I caught up with Felicity Ward and Rebecca Gibney last night for dinner,’ she shared.
‘We get on like a house on fire. Everyone is so supportive.
‘I’ve actually never met a more supportive group of women and that’s exactly what you want while filming reality TV.’
She said participating in the series has given her a whole new perspective on the performing arts.
‘I always looked at dancers as amazing, but I didn’t ever look at them like athletes,’ Brittany said.
‘But they are absolutely athletes.’
Brittany and her fiancé Ben are due to tie the knot in Bali in 2025.
The long-distance couple, who recently celebrated their two-year relationship anniversary, use WhatsApp to text while the 32-year-old goalkeeper lives internationally, and Brittany resides in her native Australia.
They have not seen each other in-person for several months due to living on different continents.
The pair met in November 2022 on the celebrity dating app Raya and at the time, the goalkeeper’s soccer team, the Glasgow-based Celtic FC, was playing in Australia against Sydney FC.
They often split their time between Australia and Scotland, where Benjamin currently lives, but Ben has plans to relocate to Australia after they are wed.
